Instruments and measures for the development of renewable energy sources in line with climate protection (Untersuchung von Instrumenten und Maßnahmen zur Erschließung des aus Klimaschutzsicht zusätzlich erforderlichen EE-Ausbaus (Klimagerechter EE-Ausbau))

In order to achieve the national climate protection targets, Germany has to decarbonise energy supply by 2050. In this context, the project aims to develop the necessary instruments and measures to ensure the ambitious and robust development of renewable energies required from a climate protection perspective. The subject matter is the identification of strategic medium- and long-term goals as well as the development of short-term and perspective measures required to adapt the relevant framework conditions. In this respect, the Stiftung Umweltenergierecht is responsible for examining the legal barriers and the legal feasibility of the recommendations for action developed in the project.
