Rethinking the Legal Framework for the Energy Transition – What Are Your Ideas?
The Foundation for Environmental Energy Law is currently developing its research program for the period from 2027 to 2031. Our goal is to establish a framework that will enable us to focus our work on the key, long-term trends that could shape climate protection and the transformation of energy supply in the coming years. Based on this framework, we then intend to identify and address the relevant legal research questions over the next five years.
Specifically, we ask: which economic, political and social challenges are facing society, the economy and the international community, and thus also shaping the framework conditions for climate protection and the energy transition? And which new answers do we need to develop in the face of these challenges?
A central part of the process for developing our research programme is having a dialogue with practice and the public – i.e. the exchange with you. Therefore, please let us know your thoughts on our previous considerations and ideas. In this way, you will help us to get a better and even more diverse picture of relevant research questions. Simply click on one of the topics and share your thoughts, ideas and suggestions with us. We are very much looking forward to your participation and thank you very much in advance!
