Cornerstones of a decarbonized EU electricity market [EU Electricity Market]

The legislative process for reforming the EU internal electricity market was completed in mid-2024 and is currently being implemented at national level. In the meantime, further reforms of the EU legal framework for the internal electricity market are expected in the short and medium term. The aim of the project is to support the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWE) with analyses of the upcoming reform proposals for secondary and tertiary law.
