Victoria Balling has been working as a research assistant at Stiftung Umweltenergierecht since March 2020.

She is currently working in the law of planning and permission, especially on the research project “A legal analysis of new challenges for planning and permission law regarding the allocation of land and the construction of wind energy installations thereon for the expansion of wind onshore energy” (NeuPlan Wind) and on the project “Instruments for the implementation of municipal heat planning – Integrated development of regulatory, process- and measure-related solutions for the municipal heat transition” (KoWaP-Pro).

She studied law at the University of Jena with a focus on German and European public law. (2014 – 2020)
There she also acquired the certificate of in-dephts studies in energy law.

She is planning her doctoral thesis in the field of energy law.
