Erik Dietrich has been working as a research associate at Stiftung Umweltenergierecht at the research area Energy Installations Law and Infrastructure Law since December 2019. He focuses on the law of planning and permission for RE systems. He is in particular working on the project “A legal analysis of new challenges for planning and permission law regarding the allocation of land and the construction of wind energy installations thereon for the expansion of wind onshore energy” (NeuPlan Wind).
During his legal traineeship at the Regional Court (Landgericht) of Frankenthal (2017 – 2019) Erik Dietrich worked at Stiftung Umweltenergierecht and spent a semester at Deutsche Universität für Verwaltungswissenschaften Speyer. He studied law at Ruprecht-Karls-Universität Heidelberg. His major subject was German and European administration law.
